    The  Alliance Française de Grand Rapids evolved from an organization that began in 1956 as the French Society of Michigan. Today, the Alliance Française de Grand Rapids is affiliated with the Federation of Alliances Française, a non-profit, world-wide organization. The focus of our activities is on the many facets of French life, including entertainment, lectures, language, book groups and soirées featuring French cuisine and wines.

 

     We encourage our members to look beyond our own boarders at what French culture offers to enlighten, enrich and broaden an understanding and appreciation of the many contributions that France has made to the quality of life throughout the world.

     Individual (single) memberships are $25 a year and dual (family) memberships are $35 a year. All persons who join by November 1 will be listed in the AF de Grand Rapids annual directory sent to all current members.
